Pensive Bluebird

Less Is More is another challenge that I haven't played along with in a while so I thought I'd join in their latest - a one layer card with the subject of birds.  I had a completely different card to start with but couldn't quite make it work so I started again and ended up with this which uses a pensive little bird from Paper Smooches' Forest Whimsy which I was lucky enough to win because I used the phrase "Whoop whoop" in my comment!  I knew that would come in handy one of these days...   :)
Cardstock:  (White) Gina K
Stamps:  (Bird from Forest Whimsy) Paper Smooches, (Sentiment from Everyday Sayings) Hero Arts
Ink:  (Memento Tuxedo Black) Tsukineko

Copics:  Y17, BG01, BG05

Well now, darnit, I don't have any phrases that are going to win me anything...unless there's going to be an "F bomb" prize some day ;) lol
The bird is totally pensive - great title! - and the stark white space seems to emphasize how lonely the birdie is without his friend. Boy, TGIF, now I'm getting all maudlin!
Oh, and btw, as to what crafts don't I do? Knit (rather stab out my eyeballs) and basket weaving. But I'm not ruling out the basket weaving ;) Especially if it's underwater...

Oh this is perfect Jen! I have a thing about cards featuring a sentiment with a bird perched on it!
