I haven't given my Purple Onion Designs stamps much love lately and I knew the Flower Framed Doodle stamp would be perfect for this week's CASual Fridays challenge to use scallops. I paper pieced it with Basic Grey's Lime Rickey papers - score one for using more patterned paper! :) It's rather Courtney Kelley-esque I think. I love her paper piecing and I discovered POD thanks to her fabulous work on their design team. Off to throw the ball for the hounds now. I can't take their "I'm so neglected" eyes any longer!Cardstock: (Kraft) PTI

Oh how I loved Lime Rickey...I used every teensy scrap :) This looks superb against the kraft, and look at all that fussy cutting! You should link it up to Moxie Fab's cutting/trimming challenge too :)

SUPER cute Jen! Love those striped scallops. I am determined to get into my stash this year too, I think we should ask the companies not to produce any nice papers this year and then we wouldn't be tempted, it's simple!

hope the boys appreciate your time away from the craft cave to be exercising them ... must be hard having two passions that both want your time at the same moment ;) loving the patterned paper my dear, it works really well on this card. i know if i was unwell this card would certainly brighten my day
