Moxie Fab World Tuesday Trigger: Strictly Stripes
I love the bright colours of the striped gloves in this picture for Moxie Fab World's Tuesday Trigger. It has been cold, windy and rainy here for the last few days so this cheery picture was a welcome sight. The colours made me think of birthday parties so I went with that idea and came up with this birthday card using the colours from the gloves:
Supplies: Card blank: The Stamp Pad Co.; Card stock: Paperbilities; Stamp: Elzybells sentiment; Ink: Vintage Photo Distress Ink; Other: CPE letter stickers, Copics, brads
Looking at it now I'd like to retake the picture with the card sitting on a different coloured surface so it doesn't blend into it quite so much. I still have a lot to learn in terms of presenting and photographing my cards. I didn't realise how different the card can look depending on the display. I'm constantly looking at other crafter's presentation styles and am trying to adapt mine to be more effective. Watch this space!

I really like the texture of the letters. It really echoes the woolens theme of the trigger.
LOVE this, Jen! The letters look like felt and the colors of the stripped mittens for your Birthday message are so perfect :o)
PS: I take so much time with photographs and never think they are quite right...need to invest in one of those light boxes all the 'Pros' use.
The letters really look like felt! Natural light is one of the keys for a good photo. And photoshop helps too, lol! Lisa Spangler from Hero Arts has a few great and easy tutorials on her blog that I found extremely helpful :)
Love this simple design! A great take on the trigger!
Super cute! Love that you used all the fun colors from the trigger :) I don't have a light box but find that if I photograph in natural light against a white background I'm happier with the way my colors turn out :)
Hey Jen! What a fun approach to this week's Tuesday Trigger in the Moxie Fab World! I'm so glad you joined in on all the fun! :)
