Trio of Bunnies

Good morning!

I'm popping in with a card for two challenges - AAA Cards (1 image + optional twist: spring) and Simon Says Wednesday challenge (Cute). I've had this cute Skipping Stones Designs bunny image for ages and, while he's had a few outings in the past, it was fun to find him again and dust him off. I thought the Altenew letters felt very Easter-y and I'm always a fan of the yellow and turquoise combo!

I made a few other cards while I had the supplies out but keep changing my mind about which is my favourite. Which do you like best?

Shoes and Flowers

Hi there!

I've got two cards to share today for a few challenges. First up is for Freshly Made Sketches and the colour challenge at Just Add Ink. I dug out some old Paper Smooches stamps and dies for this card. How cute are those shoes? Initially I just had the shoes laid out in a grid pattern but that didn't seem quite right. Then I tried popping them up on black squares but I didn't have the right size. Finally I punched out a bunch of circles and voila - third time's the charm! I love it!

Next is a card for the colour challenge at CAS Colours and Sketches. This is the first time I've inked up this Altenew set and I love it! I am definitely going to be playing with it a lot more especially with the feeling of spring in the air - its perfect for this time of year.

This is definitely my new favourite shark stamp. I love his smiling face and goofy overbite. So cute! The inked background was a happy accident. It was an inking exercise gone wrong that I almost threw out but in the end I liked the weird texture and thought it would make for a good ocean background.

Earth (as in dirt) has been a frequent presence in our house lately as Miss Chica has suddenly displayed an affinity for digging! Despite our best efforts she's dug up our new banana plant 3 times now. We may have to resort to rerouting the invisible fencing around the garden because chicken wire and concrete blocks have done nothing to deter her so far!

I am so grateful for the amazing dogs and cats that have been a part of my family over the years. They've filled my life with love, laughter and emotional support through some rough times. I am a huge advocate for adoption, especially of senior pets who, when they're unlucky enough to end up in a shelter, are continually overlooked purely for their age. You can create just as strong a bond with a senior pet as you can with a puppy or kitten so if you're ever thinking of adopting please consider the seniors!
