Wool You Be Mine?
I've got another sweet pun and anadorable little kitty today for the Freshly Made Sketches, Colour Throwdown and Simon Says Wednesday (Anything Goes) challenges. This set from Hero Arts is so cute and has 4 adorable kitties to choose from. I wanted to add some texture to the card base with a knit type stamp or embossing folder but don't have anything like that so I went for this pattern from Lil' Inker Designs which was as close as I could get. (And I like how it turned out!)

Love You Furever
Today's card is for Freshly Made Sketches. I'm working on Valentine's cards for the store at the moment so prepare to see a lot of hearts in future posts. I had these colours on my desk from another card so decided to keep going with them. Initially the sentiment was just stamped on the card base between the stripes but it felt a little lost so I restamped it on yellow cardstock to make it pop.

Season's Tweetings
I made two versions of this card for Freshly Made Sketches just with switched up dominant colours. These little Lawn Fawn birdies are old favourites (especially with the punny sentiment) and dutifully get inked up every year.

Outline Alpha Birthday
Hello there!
I've got a card today for three challenges - CAS Colours & Sketches, Freshly Made Sketches and Darnell's NBUS challenge. I broke out these Concord & 9th outline alphabet dies for the first time and used them to create some sentiment only cards. I had to cut the letters from all 3 cardstock colours so I ended up making 3 cards.

Scribble Tree
Today's card is for the Freshly Made Sketches challenge. I used the adorable scribbled tree from Essentials by Ellen. It's a little bit Charlie Brown-esque but I love it. I used some Nuvo drops to decorate it and scattered some others around it.

First I Drink the Coffee...
It's been almost 3 weeks since I've made or posted a card. Life has been a little crazy with work, taking care of mom, vet visits for the critters and hurricanes (resulting in a flooded kitchen). I feel like I've been running around like a headless chicken but not getting much accomplished. Crafting fell by the wayside but today I finally got to spend a few hours in the Craft Cave. It was blissful and I made a few DT cards and played along with some challenges.
This card is for Freshly Made Sketches. I wanted to find a circular sentiment and dug out this one from Lil' Inker. The cup and star are also Lil' Inker and the die in the background is the Bam Bubble from Paper Smooches. I was pleased with how easily all my cards came together today. Usually after this long a break I really struggle to get back in the groove. This was a nice change.
No work tomorrow as Hurricane Teddy is passing nearby so if the power stays on I hope to get some more cards made. No work last Monday either as we were being pummeled by Hurricane Paulette (which had what felt like the longest eye ever!). Let's hope we don't have another hurricane day next Monday...
