Polar Skater

Hi there!

After a busy morning running around doing errands I managed to sneak a couple of hours in the Craft Cave.  I made this card for three challenges - Merry Monday, CAS Colours & Sketches and The Colour Throwdown.  I inked up this MFT polar bear for the first time and coloured him with Copics.  He's skating along on MFT's Ride the Wave dies which I thought were perfect for the sketch!

CASology #26

Welcome to Week 26 of CASology!  Here's the cue card for this week:

Having spent Christmas in Chicago with my brother I was definitely in need of some cozy mittens!  Despite living in Bermuda I actually have a rather large collection of mittens, gloves, hats and scarves but they spend most of their lives packed away in boxes awaiting the next trip abroad.  I paper pieced these Papertrey Ink mittens using the colours from this week's Play Date Cafe challenge.  The gems add a touch if interest and the blue snowflakes tie the sentiment into the design.  So let's see what winter wonders you have in your stash! Winter Wishes

I wanted to have another go at one of the sketch challenges over at the Moxie Fab World so this is my entry for the Horizontal Sketch Challenge.  I'm also going to enter it in the Less Is More CAS Anything Goes challenge.  The LIM ladies are attempting to get 1000 entries so I am happy to lend a hand and help them reach their goal!  :)  This week's challenge at 4 Crafty Chicks is to use embossing so I am posting this puppy over there as the snowflake and sentiment are both heat embossed.  And, of course, I can't forget my friends at Use It Tuesdays - here's 5 more previously uninked stamps!
