Lollipops

During that bit of time I had on Wednesday I made this card for a friend's birthday.  I used the colours from ColourQ and, because the sentiment and image are Unity, I'm going to play along with Friends With Flair.  Arielle's colours made me think of candy and I found these sweet lollipops (from Unity's July '09 KOM) which I paper pieced and covered with Glossy Accents

The painting is going well.  The bedroom is finished and the Craft Cave is 1/4 done.  I actually managed to empty it pretty quickly and didn't stop to make a single card!  I did get involved in sorting my scrap bin but that really needed to be done...  At this rate I'll be on track for getting back in there on Sunday!  Whoop whoop! Thank you, my wonderful hubby!

Cardstock:  (White) Gina K, (Blushing Bride, Peach Parfait, So Saffron, Pear Pizzazz) Stampin' Up
Stamps:  (Lollipops from July '09 KOM - A Pocket Full of..., Sentiment from March '11 KOM - Just You) Unity, (Banner from Bannerific) Lawn Fawn, (Argyle) Market Street Stamps
Inks:  (VersaFine Onyx Black) Tsukineko, (Peach Parfait) Stampin' Up
Dies:  (Mat Stack 1 & Layerz Mat Stack 1) PTI
Other:  (Glossy Accents) Ranger

  9. Oh, Jen, I love this!! I couldn't decide how to use these colours (so haven't joined in the challenge!), but I LOVE how you've used Pear Pizzazz as the main colour. The lollipops are gorgeous. Wow - you and hubby have achieved heaps with your painting. I'm impressed that you didn't get sidetracked in the craft cave!

  15. It's all going to be worth it! I emptied my corner a few years back for new carpet and I worked extra hard getting it back. You know how as your collection grows, it takes on a life of its own and gets a little out of control?! By taking it all out and putting it all back it's a chance to be organized like never before!
