How cute is this chevron card base? A pack of them was included in the goodies I recently won from Flashback Friday (you have 2 more days to play along with the latest challenge by the way) and my card is inspired by the one that Amy sent along with the prize package. (You can see Amy's card here.) I needed an entry for this week's CAS-ual Fridays challenge to use a pattern, an image and a sentiment and I also need some birthday cards for a co-worker so this card ticks all the boxes. It's another glorious day today - bright sunshine and a cool breeze. However, if it doesn't rain soon we're going to be in trouble. The grass is already turning brown and we're seeing more and more water trucks on the roads. We're generally careful with water here but we're going to have to buckle down even more at the moment. Time for a rain dance I think!

ReplyDeleteWell, I don't have any rain to send, but if you want the enormous puddles in my backyard I'll send them! Over half the yard is underwater...so you can picture how Abby came inside yesterday. And my kitchen floor. I definitely hope you get some rain soon!

ReplyDeleteOooo...that chevron card base IS AWESOME!!! Super fun card! I know how you feel about wishing for rain!! We're still hoping for a few good snowfalls here in the mountains because we need the moisture! So, while you're doing your rain dance, I'll do my snow dance! woot woot!
