Last time I tried to play along with Darnell's Twofer challenge I missed the deadline so this time I'm determined to get in there before it's too late!
WPlus9's Doodle Buds set has a few different flower shapes in it including this fun circle. On my first card I used it as it was intended as a flower. I thought, however, that it would also make a fun balloon so I created some bright and happy birthday balloons for the second card. I used some baker's twine for the string and added a fun, curly happy birthday sentiment.

Nicely done on the twofer! Sweet flower on the tag (and coloured card base!). Great idea to use them as balloons!

I absolutely love it both as a flower on your great tag design and as a balloon on your birthday design with a perfect loopy sediment! ReplyDeleteI have this set, and never once thought to use it for this challenge! Oh you are soooo clever!! Two fabulous cards, Jen! LOVE that green base on your 'hello' card; it just makes your tag and all the bits just pop. Love this card! And balloons....a simply amazing idea! Love those bright colors you've chosen, too.
