Seize the Time Out Concept

Hello and Happy Saturday!  I'm here to share a card for three challenges.  I used the current design from Seize the Sketch, the inspiration picture from Time Out Challenges and the butterfly theme from The Card Concept.  I turned the sketch 90 degrees to the left and expanded the central elements.  In terms of the photo, I was inspired by the paneled walls and the butterflies. I broke out more patterned paper and I like the result here better than the last time I played around with it.  There are several colours and patterns but it's still relatively simple.  I think it fits into the Clean and Layered category at The Card Concept.  I hope your weekend is off to a good start and that you find some time to get crafty!  :)

Supplies Used:

Embossing Powder:  (Clear) Ranger

  8. Seize the time out...me with the new dog. lol!
I love the colours for a sympathy card - orange isn't one you'd often reach for, but it's perfection in combination with the other colours, and against that weathered wood. Love the perfect few gems too.

  20. Such a beautiful card! I love that butterfly, and the way you turned the sketch on its side. I also like that you made it a sympathy card. Sometimes I feel that condolence sentiments are lacking among the magazines and e-pubs, and yet it's the kind of card the recipient perhaps appreciates the most. Gorgeous work!
