Hello and happy Saturday! I've got two cards today, both of them for the ColourQ and A Passion for Papertrey challenges. It's a blue colour palette from Arielle at ColourQ this week and A Passion for Papertrey is looking for Christmas cards. I haven't bought any new Papertrey stamps in ages so I pulled out last year's Tremendous Treats: Christmas stamps for these cards. I kept the first card pretty simple and loaded it up with bling. The second card has layered stamping and I used the peace die from the Wonderful Words: Holiday die collection. What are you all up to for the rest of the weekend? I'm about to take Atticus for a swim and then later I'm going to my office Christmas dinner. No spouses invited (boo!) so Luis and Atti will be holding down the fort at home. Luis swears he's going to be having "a BIG party!" but I'm guessing that party will end up being the two of them crashed out on the sofa by 9pm! :)

Beautiful card, Jen! I love how you used all those blues!
ReplyDeleteOoh, love them! I especially love the peace card for the layout and those jumbled snowflakes. :-)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteFabulous card Jen, thank you so much for joining us at the colourQ this week!
ReplyDeleteLuis sounds like he is having my type of party... I'm a total morning person and have great intentions to stay 'up late' ie. after 9pm.. but it's a struggle lol! Great cards Jen! Both versions are fabulous!
ReplyDeletetwo awesome cards..I especially love how you layered the snowflakes on the second one.
ReplyDeleteLove all the blues!
ReplyDeleteThese are gorgeous! Love the second one, they look like falling snowflakes.
ReplyDeleteLove these--both of them use the colors in a fabulous way! Love the sentiments and bling, too! Thanks for playing with us at the CQC this week!
ReplyDeleteI love these both - the orderly gridded snowflakes, and the crazy falling ones :) Too cool! (hah, punny! *snort*)
ReplyDeleteAs for that 'big party' they're getting up to - that sounds about my speed ;)
Love this color scheme for the holidays, Jen. And the graphic designs rock. I'm heading outside to enjoy some unusually nice weather - got to get some exercising in or the craftin' butt will spread. Enjoy your party! Behave!
ReplyDeleteThese are both so terrific. I can't pick a favorite--so please don't ask! I was admiring that cool snowflake, and realized that I have that set, too. I should really pull it out one of these days.
ReplyDeleteWhat a difference! I love how you have them all lined up, and then all random. Usually I like the nice and orderly designs, but I surprised myself by preferring your random design. Looks fantastic!!
ReplyDeleteI love both of them! The random snowflakes would be much easier card for me to replicate (ha ha ha)
ReplyDelete:)
These are awesome, Jen! I always like blue Christmas cards. I like the symmetry of the first, but I'm really liking the randomness of the second!
ReplyDeleteJen, both cards are beautiful! Thanks for joining in the fun :) !!! Hugs ~S~
ReplyDeleteThat first card, such perfect stamping my dear! Do you use an alignment tool or just wing it? Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteAnd I love the overlapping snowflakes of the second card! The fact that you used just shades of blue is what makes it for me:)
super, super cute! Thanks for playing along with us at ColourQ!!
