ABCs





A card for The Paper Players Back to School challenge.  I always forget what a total nightmare it is to photograph black cardstock.  I wanted to go for a blackboard look though so I had to use it.  






Supplies Used
Cardstock: (Kraft) PTI, (Basic Black) Stampin' Up
Stamps:  (Images from A-Z Alphabet) Unity
Ink:  (VersaMark) Tsukineko

Embossing Powder:  (Seafoam White) Ranger
Markers:  (Gelly Roll Metallic) Sakura
Punch:  (Corner rounder) Marvy Uchida

  2. Oh my gosh! This is so sweet!! Love the CAS look! I have trouble photography all dark colours. Browns look like black for me and black doesn't always look black. Understand your frustration here....lol

  6. I like how the photo turned out too - although I bet it took 20 tries. I love the effect of colouring with the markers. It totally has that pastel chalk effect!

  7. I really struggle with taking photos of black cards.... I think yours turned out well. Your card is super clever Jen, I just love the whole 'blackboard' idea!

  9. Love this. It really does look like a blackboard. I miss them. My daughters would look at me in puzzlement if I showed them a blackboard. All they have now are whiteboards and smartboards.
