More Baby Thanks

Couldn't resist adding another one of the cards I made for my friend to hand out to her pediatrician and the nurses from the maternity ward.  I'm going to enter it in the Pretty In Pink challenge at CAS-ual Fridays.  I used some old Doodlebug papers with these PTI stamps.  I actually have the matching dies but my stamping onto the diecuts is never quite straight and it drives me mad!  In the end I just fussy cut them which made me a lot happier.  :)

Supplies Used:
Cardstock:  (White) Bazzill, (Melon Mambo) Stampin' Up
Patterned Paper:  (Pretty Pink Grid, Candy Stripe, Loopy Love Stripes, Bubblegum Plaid) Doodlebug
Stamp:  (Clothes from Hang Ups) PTI, (Sentiment from Pretty Phrases) Paper Smooches
Ink: (VersaFine Onyx Black) Tsukineko

Punch:  (Corner punch) Marvy Uchida

  1. Okay, this one is totally cute, too. :) I don't know which would be worse to me, imperfectly die cut images, or having to cut them out by hand! :P

  2. Another cute card, the ward is going to be stylin' if they display all the cards they receive from patients.

  5. Oh, that would be annoying! Have you tried taping the already stamped piece to the die? (not that I'm an expert, but just an idea)
I think this turned out adorable - and honestly, fussy-cutting is therapeutic. Love all those cute baby clothes :)

  7. I'm not normally into pink, but this is too darn cute. Try stamping first, then cutting with the dies.....add a bit of repositionable tape to hold them in place, if necessary....that's what I do, anyway! But, you are making such stuff your way. Hugs!

  8. This is so very cute. I remember all those tiny girl clothes--those outfits look just like the Gymboree clothes I used to buy my girls.

  9. I think if I had the dies I would have to fine a way to get them straight! But I get that it drives you crazy! Sweet card, Jen! I am sure your friend will love the creations! I am determined to get back to clean & simple after seeing these little beauties. Hugs xxx

  15. Hahaha! I'm so glad I'm not the only one that begins to go crazy trying to line up die cuts with my stamped images! So many times, I'll cut the images out with the die and then take my little scissors and clean my poor alignment job up! :) LOVE this card! I just may be CASEing this as I need a baby card for my brother and sis-in-love and haven't come up with any good ideas...until now! Thanks for the inspiration!!! :)
