It's Subtly Yours week at Dynamic Duos and we are to use Pool Party and Soft Suede on our creations. I immediately thought "baby boy" when I saw these colours and so pulled out Baby Basics from Market Street Stamps (designed by Julie Day). I paper pieced this cute little teddy and made a border for him to sit on using the "Boy" blocks and a Fiskars punch. I thought it needed a little something else so I gave my bear a little banner to wave as well. :) Supplies Used: Cardstock: (White) Bazzill, (Pool Party, Soft Suede) Stampin' Up Stamps: (All from Baby Basics) Market Street Stamps Inks: (VersaFine Onyx Black) Tsukineko, (Soft Suede) Stampin' Up Punch: (Threading Water) Fiskars
This is adorable -your paper piecing is perfect! (and I would be proud to partake of your pecan pie - hope you get the reference from my alliteration to When Harry Met Sally - if not, just write me off as a crazy nut! lol!)
I had to laugh at Ardyth's comment :) I remember that! The banner was the perfect little something! Love the bear's colours - and how he looks like he's waiting for a big hug!
Definitely baby boys colors! Now why didn't I think of that?! :) Love that cute lil' bear and the blocks he is sitting on! Cute little banner too! Thank so much for joining us at Dynamic Duos!
Great card! I would have immediately skipped a blue and brown challenge, but you totally rocked it, especially with the border and sweet little pennant. :) And a DT picked it, too! Not surprising.
